GAZ Group delivered 350 small and medium buses for 970 M RUB to MTA. Within the framework of the contracts, the largest carrier of the Moscow Region received 279 GAZelle Next route buses made by Gorky Plant, and 71 GAZ Kursor low-floor city bus made by LiAZ.
Small GAZelle Next route buses are outfitted with AC’s, route indicators, video registrars, video surveillance systems, and additional air heaters for passenger compartment in winter. The passenger capacity is 18 seats, the passenger compartment is 190 cm high, which allows for comfortable access to and from the bus. The bus is accessed through the front door with electric drive. The GAZelle Next driver’s cockpit has enhanced ergonomics, and larger glazing provides for excellent view. Reinforced rear axle and rear suspension allow using the bus in complicated road conditions. The bus is outfitted with Cummins ISF 2.8 engine.
GAZ Kursor city low-floor bus is designed for operation on the routes with low- and medium passenger flow and is adapted for limited-mobility passengers. The bus is outfitted with YMZ-530 four-cylinder diesel engine, 210 hp, E5, and automatic gearbox, and designed for transportation of 75 passengers including 18 seats. The bus configuration includes AC, video surveillance and navigation systems, and digital tachograph. GAZ Kursor was acknowledged the Bus of the Year at Busworld-2016 International Exhibition in Moscow.
